Investing In Young People

State 21 Ltd are pleased to volunteer their support to EBP South who inspire and prepare local young people for the world of work. EBP deliver a range of exciting and motivating work related learning programmes in schools across the Solent Region, all designed to prepare young people for life after school. Local businesses large and small are their key partners. They work with them to ensure activities and events are relevant and up to date, providing exciting experiences to motivate  young people.

On Thursday 23rd March 2017 State21 Business Director Tony Birr a retired Detective Sergeant along with two other retired detectives and associates of State21 will assist in the running a “Crime Investigation Day”   which involves the students working in teams to solve a crime, develop key employability skills such as teamwork, communication and presentation skills.  They will take part in workshops including journalism, forensics science and then present their findings.

The winning teams going head to head in a mock trial before a real Judge at the end of the day. Tony Birr said “We are delighted to partner with EBP in developing a skilled and inspired pool of young people who will be the future workforce of our society".
