GDPR How we can help ?

What is GDPR? (General Data Protection Regulations)

  • New, stricter data protection regulations from 25 May 2018
  • Penalties of up to 2% of global turnover for non-compliance
  • Do you process personal data - are you ICO registered?
  • Is your Data Protection Policy up to date?

Overview.  If your business handles any personal data (e.g. name, email, location, IP address, and online behaviour), then the new GDPR rules will apply. The new, stricter EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into force on 25th May 2018 – replacing the current Data Protection Act 1998. To understand how these changes will affect your business and to ensure data compliance, you need to act NOW.

The new GDPR rules will still apply to UK organisations irrespective of how Brexit negotiations conclude. Does your CCTV capture images of staff, customers or passers-by? If so you are collecting personal data and you should already be registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
