Cromarty Firth Multi-Port, Multi Agency Exercise

State 21 were delighted to deliver a multi-Port and multi-Agency exercise to members of the Cromarty Firth Port Security Authority.  The exercise allowed for the forging of stronger partnerships and the learning from the exercise further enhances safety and security for all.

Graham Grant of the Port of Cromarty Firth said “The value and importance of high quality training and exercising with our partners and stakeholders cannot be underestimated. Our response plans are under continuous review and we can only do this if we have effective working relationships with our responder partners and stakeholders. State 21 have again facilitated an excellent exercise and allow us to continue to improve our plans, update our knowledge and understand our partner objectives.

Rory Gunn of the Port of Nigg said “This latest exercise was the first “hands on” interaction I have had with State 21 and I was impressed. These multi-agency exercises are invaluable for helping to test and enhance our emergency response policies and practices, and the background knowledge, experience and guidance provided by the State 21 team during their facilitation of the exercise, made it challenging, enjoyable and beneficial.

Jane Beatton of Evanton Spool Base (Port of Highland Deephaven) said “State 21 were very organised and went through some scenarios which are very relatable, was good to listen to all inputs from those involved and for us all to continue to work together going forward updating our plans and knowledge”
